The TAG newspaper is a report of the audio guides that are available in Bristol. I visited both the Museum of Bristol, and the M-Shed (another museum in Bristol) to test the effectiveness of their audio guides. Audio guides can be an incredibly useful tool for blind or partially sighted people to enjoy the exhibits - if implemented correctly.
The outcome is a report of audio guides and so it’s appropriate that it comes in an accessible format - a newspaper. It covers the anatomy and function of the audio guides and their implementation at both museums. Additionally, it touches on the pros and cons of both devices, and, what I think could be done to improve them and the user's experience.
Colours used are high contrast where possible and text and paragraphs are spaced appropriately for increased legibility. The body typeface used is Rockwell, a visually accessible slab-serif.
